History:
Amick Equipment has been in business since 1959 and is now
in its 49th year of operation. The business was started
by Ray and Eleanor Amick who decided that an equipment distributorship
should be built with a strong line of street and sanitation
equipment. Through the years, Amick Equipment has grown
into one of the largest and most recognized distributors
for refuse collection equipment with our outstanding sales,
service and parts support.
Today:
Amick Equipment is very different from other equipment houses
for a lot of reasons. Our corporate headquarters are centrally
located in Columbia South Carolina with a branch office
in Greensboro North Carolina. We pride ourselves in quick
service turnarounds, next day parts availability and over
49 years in the refuse business. Our large sales force is
located throughout the Carolinas to quickly respond to any
question or request you may have. By having a complete and
diverse line of equipment, we are able to provide you with
a complete solution to your refuse equipment needs.
Equipment sold is not just delivered from the factory but
delivered by an Amick Equipment service technician to train
the operators and service personnel. All equipment is inspected
and serviced prior to delivery by our technicians to insure
accuracy and performance.
If for any reason you need to have your equipment serviced,
we have two fully staffed heavy duty service facilities.
One in Lexington South Carolina and one in Greensboro North
Carolina. All technicians are factory trained on all lines
and can quickly diagnose and fix any problem. We also have
mobile technicians that travel both states.
For parts, we are the largest stocking equipment house on
the east coast. We carry parts for all of our lines plus
parts for Heil, McNeilus, New Way, GS Products, Elgin, Johnson,
EZ-Pack, Schwarze and more. All parts can be shipped next
day and orders are processed that day till 4:00pm. Need

Future:
With over 49 years of helping
customers in the Carolinas and Virginia purchase and maintain
their refuse equipment, we have grown into the largest equipment
house on the east coast. With future expansions underway
in service, parts and sales, we are strengthening our commitment
to our customers. Our goal is 100% customer satisfactions
through quality equipment, prompt service, parts support
and over 49 years of knowledge in refuse equipment.
