Warranty Procedure

Amick Equipment Company represents a large number of manufactures of equipment. Each manufacturer has its own guidelines and rules of warranty returns and considerations. As a dealer and representative of their products, we must adhere to the conditions and policies set forth by the manufacturer.


Reasoning for Warranty returns for Credit - If you believe that a part may be faulty and possibly covered by warranty, please contact our Service or parts department to discuss the problem. When returning the defective parts, please send a copy of the Invoice or Sales Order (Picking Ticket) which was included with the parts that were shipped to you.

Returns for Credit - Products must be received at Insite within 15 days of the invoice date. Parts that are returned incomplete or that have been serviced without factory authorization may not be covered by the manufacturer.

Customer Repairs - Any repairs or replacements of parts to a any equipment which is under warranty and that is not done by Amick Equipment or any authorized repair facility designated as such, must be approved before hand, or therefore may not be covered. If you or any other organization receives authorization to repair or replace parts, the guidelines in the above two (2) paragraphs must be followed to insure proper warranty coverage.

Billing/Credit - Any repairs or replacements of parts to equipment under warranty will be invoiced to the customer. Upon reception of the parts and information needed, we will make a claim with the manufacturer for warranty consideration. When we receive notification concerning disposition of this claim, whether in the form of a credit or disapproval, we will inform the proper individual(s) at your business. If we receive a credit for the amount claimed, we will issue your account for the proper charges that was covered by this warranty.

Payment - It is not required that you pay the invoice for these charges ahead of time. Once the warranty credit has been received from the manufacturer, we will issue credit as it may apply. A large number of manufacturers take a considerable amount of time to approve the items that were returned for warranty consideration. This procedure could take from 30 to 90 days to complete. If you should receive a statement from us showing these charges, please ignore them as there will be no late charges under that will apply for non payment.
